Gone

but apparently not totally forgotten. 

Today when I picked up my mail here in Sweden I was very touched to realize that I had received an invitation to something that used to be a common event in my previous life as a naval officer's wife but that today means that people still remembers me and are thoughtful enough to include me despite the fact that I am no longer a part of the United States Navy. This is not the first time this has happened and it means so much since it is a sign of true and authentic friendships, no matter what, and in my eyes a very classy move.
