We, my parents and my girlies and I, left Sweden on Saturday morning, Påskafton,
and so far we are having a lovely time in Florida, USA.
Since our small hometown of Mora is located 300 kilometers from the airport in Stockholm we took the train down the night before and had a nice dinner when we arrived.
My father very, very happy with a very, very large bear
that took a very, very long time to finish.
that took a very, very long time to finish.
Breakfast at the hotel early Saturday morning, and are those two Easter eggs or something else in my morning latte? LoL! Are you not supposed to get a heart or a feather?
Breakfast view!
@ Frankfurt airport
Over there the largest airplane in the world flown by Singapore Airlines.
I feel so blessed to travel with my parents and girlies and to be able to make great memories together.
Bella is also with us but she prefers to not be in any of the pictures on my blog.
Mama looking scruffy upon arrival in Tampa, Florida.
Emi looking fresh as a rose.
In Tampa we picked up a rental car and drove to Disney World in Orlando where we are now staying in Disney World at Shades of Green right across the road from Magic Kingdom.
The Shades of Green is a resort only for US military personel and other Department of Defense employees and their family members. A fantastic benefit for the armed forces and their families!
We feel truly blessed indeed to be able to stay here.
It was dark upon arrival but we concluded that the resort had changed a lot since we were here the last time about ten years ago. It is now huge and very modern with several additional buildings that was not here before. On the grounds there are several nice restaurants, a shop, pools, spa, gym, and a fantastic golf course.
Very early morning view from our balcony.
The main lobby
We have a very fantastic breakfast included that we enjoy tremendously every morning.
And of course we have snakes and alligators on the grounds.
These signs are all around the hotel grounds.
Sunday was Easter Sunday and of course the Easter Bunny showed up
and the hotel had arranged for an egg hunt.
It was so much fun watching the egg hunt.
I love it when I do not have to pack beach or pool towels.
After Easter Sunday brunch we spent at few hours at the pool and then later in the afternoon we went shopping for Emilia's prom dress, which took about an hour to locate since she had done her research very well on the internet before arriving in the USA. She knew exactly what she wanted and tried on three dresses and then picked the most beautiful one.
Across the street from the dress store I found a Tommy Hilfiger outlet and bought these lovely dark blue mocca boots that were on 60% SALE + an additional 15% in Military discount = 75%
What a fantastic purchase!
In the US you never ever have to pay full price for anything, and this is how I love to shop!
To get everything for nothing :-)
Most shops here in the USA offer military discount.
Verkligen jätte snygga och jag älskar blåfärgen.
In the dress store Camille
This was my favorite dress!
@ Bass Pro Shop
This is where my father loves to shop for his hunting gear.
Florida is a very conservative state.
Ended the day at Ralph Lauren.
Today is Magic Kingdom day!
